*Finally* bought the Sweet Peach & Modern Renaissance Palettes

Hello you,

I have been awful at keeping up with the posts lately, I’m behind on many Glossybox unboxings, and everything else that I’ve bought and emptied so a million sorry’s for that.

This one’s a quick post to say that I finally cracked and bought these two most talked about palettes of 2016 I feel, through a 25% discount period at Sephora in France, and decided to also buy the MUFE stick foundation as I could  get the powder free. With this purchase at a specific Sephora, I was able to choose my samples, and as a gold member I was also able to choose this Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer which I have loved, ever since getting it in a Glossybox over a year ago. Result!!

Apart from the samples, I’ve used the 3 main items a few times and here’s what I’ll say:

  • Too Faced Sweet Peach: It does smell of peaches, but more in a sickly way than I had imagined, like a peach flavoured sweet perhaps? I was hesitating with this one due to the colour scheme, and wondering if it would go well with my skin tone, but so far I have made the peach colours work, incorporating some of the deeper purple in the outer corners. I think I will reach for this one a lot more now that the sun is coming out
  • ABH Modern Renaissance: I am still nervous about the colours, the warm red/burgandy colours do seem to make me look a bit weird, but I have only reached for this once so it is also too early to tell. I am keeping the box though, as I don’t want the furry packaging to get dirty. Saying this, I do think I might be used to the UD or TF packaging, but this cardboard style packaging sometimes puts me off
  • MUFE Stick foundation: I got this in the (123) shade Y365 as I am still using the liquid versions in (125) Y315 and I feel that although I can use it, I can get a better match. I think this is probably better for me, and I do like the stick foundation. I find it easier to travel with but I do need to try more to see if I prefer the liquid or stick format more.

Product empties #10

Hello you!

Another empties round here so let’s get started! (Apologies for the blurry photo, I didn’t realise it was a bad one..)

17-02-2017 17-24-27.png

From top left to right, then bottom left to right:

  1.  Dr. Goldfaden: Ruby Crystal Microderm Exfoliator: This felt like rubbing salt on your face, it felt like it did something but at the same time also felt rough. I liked to wet my face and fingers whilst spreading this around otherwise it would have been too much for me. I did think this was ok, but I think it was a bit too harsh so I wouldn’t buy this.
  2. Eyeko Fat Liner: I got this from a beauty box and I really did enjoy this product. I find pen eyeliners to probably be the most easiest way to apply eyeliner. The only thing is that this is a fat pen, so whilst good to try and create the flick, as my hooded eyes don’t have much space for lash lining, I had to be careful with this. I would consider purchasing this, if I knew where I could easily get it (in store I mean)
  3. DeClerc Mascara: I got this from a beautybox too, and I actually think this wasn’t bad. For me, it didn’t seem to flake, it did what I wanted to, which was to darken my lashes and I do remember being very surprised with this. I wouldn’t re purchase because I have a lot of mascaras to use up from a variety of boxes, but seeing how  those will go, I might keep this one in the back of my mind.
  4. Kiehls Midnight Recovery Eye: I do think this cream works, probably not as much as another cream I am using, but I did seem to notice a difference the morning after application that my dark under eye area wouldn’t be as dark anymore. This one I am not going to repurchase but keep in the back of my mind for sure.
  5. Academie francaise: This was a moisture cream I think – really I can’t remember – but it might have been a daily cream. It did moisturize well but I wouldn’t say anything specific against this one. I kept this in my travel bag and it suited the purpose.
  6. Yves Rocher moisturiser: This is a small sample I received, and probably don’t have much to comment on it. It was a moisturiser and did what I needed it to, it was ok to put it on in the morning without being too thick but it’s probably something I wouldn’t repurchase.
  7. Fresh Vitamin Nectar Mask: I really like this product. It was a sample but something I might consider to get at Sephora now that the brand is in France. It smelt like oranges and zesty but I do feel like it did something to my face. The texture was strange, something like a jelly with bits in I feel like, but I do think I would try purchasing this if I got the chance.
  8. Elemis Tri-Enzyme face wash: I bought this a while ago, with a bunch of other Elemis products that I have been using up and must be in my previous empties posts. I like this enough as I was using it, but I don’t think I noticed anything special after having used more products through various beauty boxes. I do seem to like the brand, to me it reflects quality and British-ness, however if I had to say one product I liked the most, it would probably be the lavender toner which I did think that more of an effect for me in balancing out my oils.
  9. + 10. Panier de Sens, cleanser and toner. This was refreshing, as the packaging suggests and did the job well. It removed my make up gently and toned my face gently and in a refreshing manner. I think this brand is probably a bit too pricy if I remember correctly, however it was nice to use.

11.  Aussie 3 minute miracle: I love the smell of this,  and I think it does work well. My hair felt nourished, smooth and moisturised. I would probably purchase from this brand again.

12. Nars creamy concealer in Custard: This is a sample, and I have another one actually which is great as I don’t think I can really remember much about this. I do think I liked it though, it goes well for my skin tone under the eyes, and also as a spot concealer too. I don’t remember if there was much creasing so I will have to try out the second sample and give it a go. I do remember thinking it might be worth to buy the concealer though so I don’t think it was bad for me.

13. Rituals foaming shower gel: This was gentle in cleaning and foamed nicely. I think it was a calming and gentle body cleanse which was great. I think though that I don’t care much for shower gels (at least not as much for now) so I wouldn’t re purchase, but to test more from this brand is something I would consider for sure.

Feel Unique Magic of Beauty Advent Calendar (12 days)

Hello you!

So, from my last post, I mentioned that I have two advent calendars this year. This one has only 12 doors, so what I actually decided to do was a countdown to the countdown! I took the photos of the advent calendars as soon as I got them, but only started to open these doors (one day at a time!) 12 days before the 1st December.

I think of this post like an unboxing, and here we have the items..

img_0363

And again…img_0369

I obviously did look up what were included before deciding what calendars to get, but I didn’t look too much in detail about which days were in what and so on to give some sort of element of surprise.

I’m still happy I have this one, and I can’t really pick a couple of products that I’m really excited about but I’ll give it a go:

  • Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl in Gilded Honey – this looks so pretty! I’m sure I’ve heard of this brand before and the swirl in how they pressed this really looks pretty. I don’t use highlighter’s alot but this is so pretty looking.
  • Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow polishing mask – I’ve been so interested in this brand for a long time so I’m super glad to have a sample to try out
  • Nuxe Reve de Miel – I’ve bought this before and I liked it, and with winter here my lips are always dry and chapped. This is perfect, plus you can’t ever have enough of lipbalms can you?

The products I’m probably least excited about…hmm..Ok..

  • Rimmel Lipstick in the Best of the Best – only because I have a ton of lipstick, red ones too, but that’s the only reason. I am actually curious about the lipstick because I haven’t ever had a Rimmel lipstick before..
  • Bourjois Paris eyeshadow in Originale – again, because I have enough eyeshadows already. The colour seems something that I wouldn’t go for myself, but it is glittery and so goes well with the festive theme. Again, I’ve never tried Bourjois eyeshadow before (or any other product for that matter!) but I remember at school always being interested in the brand and especially the eyeshadows for the packaging..so dreams really do come true in December (haha)
  • Percy & reed Hair Wonder Balm – I don’t use hair products much, more so in the winter if I am drying my hair so perhaps this is good timing. It is a miracle leave-in balm which preps and primes your hair, ready for the styling products and techniques. It makes the styling products work wonders (apparently) giving more control and longer lasting results… Ok well that description has me sold but I don’t know if I’ll see / notice any difference!

In all, I really do like these products and this year’s got me already wondering for next years beauty advent calendars offerings!

Sephora US Haul

Hey you!

An American friend of mine came to Paris and had told me in advance in case I wanted to order something that he could bring over, and..well I jumped on that chance! Sephora don’t do a ton of brands here that they do over in the US (though it is changing with Fresh, ABH, Huda Beauty, Becca and soon KVD), so I made sure to choose products that I wouldn’t be able to easily get myself.

Additionally, since I spent a fair bit in the summer, I had enough points to claim a Too Faced Melted Matte lipstick, as well as benefit from their promotions and bag myself a goody bag plus three samples.

So here are the products I bought ( I include the 100pt redemption Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick here):

img_0288

CoverFX – This is SPF30 which is perfect because I sometimes flare up when I wear suncream (but it’s very important, especially if I use resurfacing products..) so I got a sample of this and didn’t seem to react so knew that this would be perfect for over moisturiser and under primer/foundation.

Kevyn Aucoin Medium Sculpting Powder – This seems to be a major staple for many people and I had to try this out. I wanted the light shade but that was sold out so I went for the medium, knowing that I could probably get away with both and that medium was the only one that existed for a long time and if it suited NikkieTutorials for a while then I must be good for sure!

IT cosmetics CC+ cream – I’ve heard about this brand and thought this was the perfect time to try it. I heard more about the bye bye under eye products more actually, but since I was more looking for a foundation type product I went with this one instead.

Too Faced Melted Matte in Sell Out – I saw this in the 100pt offering and had to go for it. This shade looks like a neutral good for work colour, and it is. It kind of reminds me of Pasedena from Ofra, but it is slightly different. I like the wear on it, and it isn’t drying actually for me (the Ofra one can be quite drying..like all Matte lipsticks I assume)

Drunk Elephant Let’s B Clear pack – I bought the night serum and although I haven’t tried it out, I remember also looking at the Marula Oil products. Since then I saw the ride or die products mention the day serum as well as the oil and the night serum so I thought why the heck not..

So the goody bag of faves plus the 3 samples are here:

3samples: Estee Edit night mask, Tatcha cleansing oil and Aerin lip salve

From the goody bag, I’m super happy to have the Porefessional and Nars products to try because they are everywhere! And then the rest are good little sized products that I can always have a use for (I mean face masks, SPF, perfume are always good when you’re travelling or something!)img_0289

Oh and before I sign off, I had to share what the Kevyn Aucoin packaging looks like. It caught me by surprise (in a good way) and I had to share it because I wasn’t expecting it. The packaging itself is a nice golden smooth box, it sort of screams luxury, the powder itself comes in a two toned gradient (also screams luxury) and comes in a little cloth pouch.. I mean how cute!!img_0290

Product Empties #8

img_0107

Hey you!

I love when I go through products, it feels that I’m making progress, despite new products coming in through each month through my Glossybox (at least!). There are a fair few sample products this month but let’s get started..

NaturalTech Replumping shampoo – this was from a beautybox and without any sulphates or parabens I was bound to already give this a few points. It was good and though I can’t really say with one use if I liked it alot or not, it did clean my hair well. I don’t think I’ll go out my way to repurchase, but if I don’t have any shampoos and I see this brand I might think why not.

Hayasei anti-fatigue eye patches – this was also from a beautybox. This was a one use eye patch mask, with the patches going just under your eye. I did feel that this did something, if not just to relax my eye area and feel that it was working. However, eye patches aren’t something I would use regularly, so whilst I would use it if I have it, I wouldn’t buy it.

Fresh Soy face cleanser – this is a mild, lovely smelling and gentle cleanser. I used this on it’s own and with my clarasonic to get rid of any make up. I think it’s gentle and effective, and I already have a small version of this in my back up. I would repurchase this.

La roche posay – This is the second time I had a bottle like this, and my thoughts pretty much stay the same. It feels kind of heavy for a micellaire water, and I didn’t like it so much. I wouldn’t repurchase it, as I like them to feel like water and invisible on the skin but it did the job in taking off my make up.

Skin Owl – This product is a clear gel like texture, that I could easily rub into my neck area. Whether or not it made a difference, I can’t really say. I think it was good that it reminded me to take care of my neck area, as the product was specifically for this, however I don’t think I would re purchase because I didn’t see any difference.

Benefit They’re Real! Primer – This worked well as a light tint to my eyelashes post eyeshadow, and I feel that it worked as a primer because I would get less flaking. I would repurchase if I was really into mascara, and I could wear them alot, but as I don’t tend to (especially as longer lashes would rub against my glasses) it’s a non re purchase from me.

Benefit They’re Real! Push up liner – This was a product that I was super interested to try out. I think in the beginning I loved this, it did give me exactly what I wanted but I will say two things about this product. 1) Super hard to get rid of and 2) This did transfer and I would need to keep checking that I didn’t get panda eyes. If the formula changed, I think I would re purchase. However I think I initially loved it because it was the first product that I could get up close to my lash line, however the transfer of the product for me stopped me from using it after I discovered other products / brushes.

L’Atelier Maquillage – This was a light mascara, but I think it also did flake on me. I would need to check for any transfer. I don’t feel that it did anything in particular to my lashes (strengthen, grow, volume etc) but I did give it a good go and good use to quickly darken the lashes after using lighter eyeshadow colours.

Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatement – This is a sample, and I think I might consider getting the full sized. The texture was not what I thought it would be though, more plasticky than anything I could describe. As I put it under my eye area, it was light and spread easily, but the texture is something that isn’t an oil, cream or gel like feeling… however, I think that it did do something to my under eye area.

Caudalie masks – I got these from a pharmacy I think, after my big shop, and they are either hydrating ones (where you slap it all on and then after 15mins wipe off the excess) or the ones you wash off. I think that the brand is great, I love the hand creams for sure, and apart from the moisturising mask, I might be tempted to get the full sized versions to fully test more. However, the truth is that I have a ton of masks already to go through (from boxes or sales) so I might not get around to it, and the products weren’t impacting me so much that I’d want to stock up right away.

Beauty spring cleaning!

IMG_0106.JPG

Hello you!

So I’ve put a couple of items on eBay recently, mainly because I’ve been using eBay to get rid of a few items (mainly clothes) that weren’t old enough to put through recycling but also good enough brands to be re-purposed. I didn’t think that the same could go for makeup, but I’ve read that in the US there are a fair few sites that specialise in selling on gently used make up. I decided to clear out a few things, the two eyeshadow palettes that have been gently used, and the rest that hasn’t been touched. As of right now, the eyeshadow palettes have been sold. If I can’t get rid of some of the other items, I think I’ll try to give them away as opposed to throwing them in the bin. Lately I’m all about recycling / re purposing so this way I feel a bit better that at least I tried to do something instead of throwing them away. If someone else does that then at least it’s one less thing that was bought to then be thrown away right?!

Eye shadow palettes:

The Smashbox Full Exposure palette was the first palette I got, having bought it after really wanting to try and figure how to make eye shadows work for my eyes. I got this at Sephora, thinking that the colours would suit me and were also fairly neutral. The reason why I got rid of this, is because the entire top row is glittery and I hardly ever used them. I would stick to the bottom row which were far better for me. As I have the Urban Decay Basics 2 pallette which has similar colours, and is far smaller I decided to let this one go.

The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette is what I decided to go for, after choosing between the 1st, 2nd or 3rd one. I decided to go for this one as the 3rd one seemed to rose pink for me, and the first one I thought the packaging was probably too flimsy. Plus this one had a nice black black colour. Whilst I liked the packaging, I realised that this has too many shimmery shades too, and a fair number of lighter ones which I couldn’t seem to work or naturally didn’t tend towards. For this reason I hardly picked this up. I did get the Smokey palette afterwards, having been won over by the quality and the choice that the palette gives you, and tended to use that more (or the Basics 2).

Bronzer & Highlighters:

I got the Bare Minerals “warmth” in the US at a outlet centre, and this is unopened. With an open one already in my make up drawers, and being hardly used as it is, I decided that this has to go. For an all around colour, I might try more in the summer, but as a bronzer I find that I have other products I gravitate towards.

The Model Co highlighting trio was from the Birchbox I recently posted. I didn’t even want to open this up, because I thought about it, and as I hardly use cream products (my Benefit Watt’s up highlighter hardly gets used at all!) I decided that this should have it’s chance with someone else. I read good reviews on the product, but decided to keep it in the packaging and let it find a good home elsewhere.

Other:

The Sephora primer is something that I got on a whim and hardly used, I don’t think I would want to either as it is very siliconey (I got a sample afterwards and used that), and I don’t like the texture of that. Also I have been skipping primer lately, using either multi purpose moisturisers and also putting a bit of oil into my foundation and then powdering up. It is winter though, so I don’t really need to worry as much about make up staying on.

MUFE concealer is something I got on a private sale, and I’m not sure why I decided to get this really as I don’t think I knew my colour. Anyway this can’t be sold on ebay due to some rights or something like that, so not sure exactly what I can do with it.. I can try other sites perhaps.

Nivea Men post shave balm isn’t anything expensive and it doesn’t matter if I don’t find a home for this. I bought this because it was a big thing on YouTube that this made a great primer. As I bought this on a BOGOF deal, I didn’t really need the other..

The S factor hair brush is a spare one that I already have. I’m not sure that the big barrel is useful or anything, but two of them is at least one too many. It’s discontinued but I’m hoping that someone is interested.. It would be a shame to let it go to waste.

Glossybox: November 2016

IMG_0161.JPG

Hello you!

So this month’s box was strangely delayed, I think it might have had something to do with the fact that it is a collab box with Jonak ( shoe company). This month I think all the contents were the same and looking at it very quickly, I think the value of the box must be quite high.

  1. Aussie 3MM Reconstructor. 250ml – 9Eur
    • 75ml – 2.70Eur
    • Comments: I receive this brand before, I think it was either the same or a similar product. I do remember thinking it wasn’t bad though, so I don’t mind having this again. It’s a hair mask and so after the Amika mask that I got from my Birchbox this month gets used, this one will be up next.
  2. De Bruyere Beaute Jumbo eye crayon, Bubble 07. 15Eur
    • Full size. 15Eur
    • Comments: I don’t mind an eye crayon, it’s what I used to only wear back in the day before I discovered that eye primer would actually allow eye shadow to work on my eyes! This colour is a subtle one, and I think would work well for my every day use (which is a brown subtle smokey eye)
  3. Avene Eau Thermale – Masque apaisant hydratant. 50ml – 15.80Eur
    • 30ml – 9.48Eur
    • Comments: Well I’ve tried this brand once before, I know that it’s easily accessible for me in Paris where all the pharmacies stock this brand for a good price, but I’ve not really tried any other of their products. I hear the cold cream is meant to be good..but I digress. So this is supposed to hydrate and then you wipe off the excess. Good for the winter months I suppose.
  4. MDMflow Semi matte lipstick in the shade Vamp. 21Eur
    • Full size. 21Eur
    • Comments: This colour looks like a perfect deep plum, which is great for the autumn months (though it could also pass as a rainy gloomy winter if you ask me). I can’t wait to try this shade out.
  5. Unani – Il-luminate cleaning milk. 200ml – 15.99Eur
    • 200ml – 15.99Eur. Full size.
    • Comments: I still have something from this brand that I never used yet (from a beauty box). I don’t think I have any bad perceptions of this, quite the contrary but I know that I’ve been backlogged with some products so I just didn’t get round to it. This is a cleansing milk though, and considering I use a cleanser/micellaire water on a daily basis, I’m sure I’ll get round to this soon enough.

Well I wasn’t joking when I thought this box value was worth a fair bit, and it is a 64,17Eur. Must be a top record for a value of a Glossybox I think. I’m pretty content with this months unboxing and I think these are all products I think are useful / curious to try out.

Glossybox: September 2016

933dde14-0355-4024-8d0a-d1f681e80b9c

Hello you!

As mentioned, I’m playing catch up since my moving left me with no time to update my blog, and being so close to the summer break means I’ve been MIA more than I’d have liked. So now is the September Glossybox!

Firstly, I’m loving this Glossybox design with the marble effect. It’s probably one of the better designs that I’ve received in my opinion. It looks like this month everyone has got the same items, which I don’t know if I necessarily like or not but at least this way there is no wishing that I had got something else.

  1. Academie scientifique de beaute – fluide dermo-hydratant. 50ml – 34.20Eur
    • 15ml – 10.26Eur
    • Comments: I’ve received this brand before and I think they do have hydrating products – that I normally use over night since I am quite oily – so I don’t mind having another one but that’s the third one now… I’m up for a change please!
  2. Too faced better than sex waterproof. 7.65g – 23Eur
    • 4.8g – 14.43Eur
    • Comments: I have the bigger size of this mascara, as well as the smaller non waterproof version, all of which I haven’t tried yet so I hope it is worth it! Mind you I have heard/ read good things about it so I supposed I’m not worried too much
  3. Universal beauty cosmetics – secret flush. 4.50g – 18Eur
    • 4.50g – 18Eur. Full size
    • Comments: I don’t rate multi purpose lip and cheek products so much, I can’t say I’ve tried many but the few that I have I don’t think do too good a job on either. This shade seems interesting though so this one might work..let’s see.
  4. Secret product
    • This was a total secret, but having received since the box that it is a Head and Shoulder’s shampoo, I guess I am disappointed that an easily accessible brand was this secret shampoo. Seems a bit weird though? As for the secret part, it was kind of interesting to see what it was but I think when it comes to shampoos I would rather know what it is since I try to take a bit more care to see what the ingredients are.
  5. The vintage cosmetic company – cleaning brush tool. 7.50Eur
    • I actually have a brush egg from Amazon..or maybe it was ebay, that is exactly the same only I paid something like 2 or 3Eur for it. For that reason I gave this to a colleague of mine because I really didn’t see the need to have two. Especially when I hardly use mine anyway. I feel these tools are great for the small eye brushes, but anything bigger I always end up doing a second wash with my fingers anyway to get the product and colours out.

So in total, this box was worth 50.19Eur at least (as I don’t have a price for the shampoo), so when I take away the cleaning brush tool, it still makes for a good value for price. However, if I take away the cheek and lip duo it makes 24.69 and mostly thanks to the Academie scientifique de beaute product. So actually, this month didn’t excite me too much and I certainly didn’t feel like I hit the jackpot with this one. Apart from the awesome looking marble box.. oh well. You win some and you lose some…

Sephora HAUL!

Hello you!

So, during the summer I went to Canada and the US and knew I would be spending ALOT of money to buy a load of items that Sephora doesn’t stock here in France (boo hoo). I did manage to actually get the VIB status (the second level..equivalent to the Sephora Black in France) due to spending so much..oops.

I also have to admit that I did also buy the Drunk Elephant Night Serum at the very last minute so that’s not in the photo, nor the second 100 pt gift I could claim (which is a double of one of the samples here anyway). I signed up to be a rewards member and because it was my birthday month, I got the Fresh gift as well, which was great because I wanted the cleanser again.

I think the Sephora loyalty program is far better than the one here in France, we hardly get good samples and we don’t get things like 100 or 500pt rewards. Plus it works in Canada and the US.

All these products I’ve been keeping on my list, due to various YouTuber’s mentioning them or using them, waiting for my chance to get my hands on these products ( aside from the Boscia brush which was a 100% impulse buy whilst standing in the line to pay). I’ll also be honest and say that apart from the make up products and the cleansing brush, all the rest I won’t be using immediately as I would like to finish of what I’m currently using. I really don’t like (nor have enough space) to have many open products on the go. I just know that I do want these products and they will be used in due time…I just have to be patient first :).

(Anything to the right of the Cover FX, Becca or Philosophy products are the 100 pt samples or the birthday gift).

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think??

Glossybox: August 2016

Hello you!

So two unboxing posts in one month!! Here’s what we have this time:

1) Signal White Now – White now glossy chic. 50ml – 3.30-3.59€

  • 50ml – 3.30€ ( I’ll count on the lower end of the RRP scale)
  • Comments: this toothpaste is clearly marketed for women, and that kinda annoys me..even if I hope that this does make my teeth look nice and white. Apparently there is ‘blue light’ technology that gives your teeth an instant whitening effect. I’ve literally got a few more teeth brushes to go before I run out of toothpaste so the timing is almost perfect!

2) Benefit – Gimme brow. 3g – 26.50€

  • 1g – 8.83€
  • Comments: I’m not one for a lot of brow products but after seeing so much about this new product line launch I’m kinda glad to get in on the action here. This is a brow volumizing fibre gel, so I guess should be pretty easy to use.

3) Trifle cosmetics – lip perfect lipstick in the shade ‘guilty pug’. 3.5g – 17.95€

  • 3.5g – 17.95€
  • Comments: I’m not going to open this actually because I have far too many lip products open and I’m receiving new ones at a faster rate than I receive them so instead of checking out the color I’ll just keep this unopened if ever I want to give this one away to my sister or a friend. I do think from the photos the shade would be a nice summer but natural color.

4) -417 – Shampoo with minerals from the Dead Sea. 250ml – 24€

  • 40ml – 3.84€
  • Comments: I had a conditioner from the same brand and I don’t think I rated that well. I’m not sure I’ll like this product either, there are no parabens but there are sulphate so and since I’m on a general anti sulphate shampoo regime (aside from once a month to really get that stripped back but squeaky clean feeling) it might get me a while to get to this…or I’ll just give it away. Undecided yet but I don’t expect great things.

5) Lilas Blanc – Huile marveilleuse. 100ml – 25,90€

  • 30ml – 7.77€
  • Comments: this is a dry oil but I’m not sure what exactly it is. The ingredients list sesame oil, sunflower seed oil as the top two ingredients and then there’s rapeseed oil, jojoba oil, camellia oil and so on. I have a few oils already but in the summer I prefer not to use them on my face in the summer unless I’m breaking out and I need my Argan oil, but I’ll give this one a go on my body and hair. It does seem to absorb into the skin really quickly and well, leaving a moisturized and soft feeling after and non oily at all.

41.69€ is this months total value. I think I like the oil or Benefit brow products the best and the -417 shampoo is the product I’m not excited to have. I’ll be trying to do an updated project pan and/or empties post soon and then hopefully back in September I can continue talking about foundations or other make up I’m using at the moment. Ciao till then!
